Chapter 1 - An Unreadable Letter

Kingdom of Sins, Votaria, January...

A few days earlier... When I received a letter from Acedia-kun, I was racking my brain. 

(This is...)

When I looked at the letter in my hand, I tried reading it again...)

("Let me thank X, co- ★▲"...)

Due to how the words were written, it became unreadable midway. 

(I can't read all of this properly, but...This must mean that he wants me to come to the castle, right?)

After I folded the letter, I started to get ready to head to the castle where Acedia-kun is...

The Kingdom of Sins was enveloped by a faint fog. Where exiled group of sinners must atone for their sins... The 7 colossal prisons in the Kingdom of Sins take in criminals depending on which of the 7 sins they have committed. 

(It's gloomy, even though it's noon... It's a little scary.)

I walked quickly on the dark quiet road. 

When I arrived at the castle, a maid spoke to me uneasily. 

Maid: MC-sama, we've been expecting you! Um, my apologies... Right now, Acedia-sama is... 

MC: ?

Maid: I'll take you to his room...

Rushed by the maid, we went to Acedia-kun's room and...

Servant: Acedia-sama! The Traumerei Princess is here!

When we heard a loud voice from inside the room, the door opened with great force. 

??: Zzz... 

MC: ...!!

Acedia-kun came out of the room with a servant pulling him. While that was happening, Acedia-kun was asleep... 

MC: Acedia-kun...?

As a response to my voice, Acedia-kun opened his big eyes. 

Acedia: ...MC-chan? 

Just as he happily smiled after seeing me for a moment... Acedia-kun closed his opened eyes and fell asleep again. 

Servant: Acedia-sama, please wake up!

The servant's voice echoed throughout the castle. 

(The servant's voice isn't waking him up...!?) 

Even after that, no matter how much the servant called out to him or shook his body... Acedia-kun stayed asleep in comfort... 

Chapter 2 - The Prince That Doesn't Want to Move

Servant: Acedia-sama, Acedia-sama!

No matter how much the servant shook Acedia-kun, he wouldn't wake up. 

Servant: ...My apologies. It's no use once he falls asleep. 

After the servant sighed, he carried Acedia-kun to his room. Although, Acedia-kun looked really heavy as he was fast asleep... 

MC: Um... Let me help too!

Servant: Letting the Traumerei Princess do something like that... 

MC: I'll be okay, things will quickly if two people carry him. 

Servant: ...My apologies. 

As I was supporting Acedia-kun's body, we entered the room.

After bowing to me, the servant left the room.

For a while, I looked at Acedia-kun's sleeping face...

As Acedia-kun was fast asleep, he suddenly opened his eyes. 

Acedia: Phew, pretending to be asleep... is tiring.

After hearing that, I became amazed.

When the maid placed down the cake as if she was used to it, she left the room soon after. 

Acedia: If I ring this bell, everything will be taken care of. Ah, want to watch some T.V.? It's fun to watch while rolling around on the bed. Let's roll together, MC-chan. 

Acedia-kun called me over as he patted the fluffy bed.

Acedia-kun looked at me as he rolled around on the bed.

As the temperature in the closed-off room felt just right, the comfortable feeling made me feel relaxed.

MC: Acedia-kun, can I open a window?

Acedia: Sure, go ahead. 

At the window, there was a small flowerpot. Although, the flower has already withered out and the leaves have sadly scattered on top of the soil. Just as I picked up a leaf...

The withered flower that was hiding in the shade had a small bud sprouting. 

MC: Acedia-kun, this flower... 

Acedia: Ah, it already withered. I'll go get a maid to get rid of it soon. 

Just as Acedia-kun was about to ring the bell, I stopped his hand at that moment. 

MC: But... There's still a bud remaining. 

Acedia: A bud? Ah, you're right. 

When I looked outside the window, there were a variety of colorful flowers growing in a flower bed. 

MC: I'm going to take this flower to the flower bed.

I ignored Acedia-kun's words and headed to the flower bed alone... 

Chapter 4 - Looking at the Flowers Swaying in the Wind

Acedia: It's a pain, so don't do it. Also, taking it somewhere else doesn't mean that the bud is going to bloom. 

MC: But... I... I'm going to go.

-Flashback-

A few days later since then... 

(Good, it bloomed well...)

When the flower bud that I transferred here has bloomed beautifully, a new bud was sprouting there. 

(It has gotten even more healthy.)

Just as I poured some water on the bright yellow flower...

Acedia: MC-chan, what are you doing?

Acedia-kun was looking at me from his room window. 

MC: Acedia-kun, the flower that I brought here has bloomed nicely.

Acedia: Eh, really? 

MC: It's a beautiful big flower. 

Acedia: I see... 

Acedia-kun moved his body forward from the window to get a look at the flower.

MC: Acedia-kun, don't you want to come over and see it?

Acedia-kun became silent and drew his head back into his room. 

(Does he think that it's bothersome to go outside? But, I want to show the flower to Acedia-kun...)

Feeling disappointed, I looked at the flower and...

Acedia-kun listlessly walked over to the flower bed...

As Acedia-kun yawned, a tear fell from his eyes.

MC: ...The first time!?

When Acedia-kun said that, he laughed again.

Hearing Acedia-kun laugh was making me happy as well. Although...

When a cold wind blew, Acedia-kun immediately stopped laughing.

Since Acedia-kun was lightly dressed when he left his room, his shoulders shrugged from the cold.

MC: Let's return to the room. 

Just as I was about to hurry and go back to his room...

Acedia-kun pulled me and hugged me tightly. 

MC: A-Acedia-kun? 

Acedia: Yeah, this is warm. 

As he rubbed his cheek against mine, his hands rubbed my back.

As I watched him warming himself up comfortably by using me, I felt the inside of my heart becoming warm...

The next day... Since a big meeting was going to be held at the castle, the maids were really busy in getting some refreshments ready. Instead of the maid, I brought breakfast to Acedia-kun's room... 

Acedia: Good morning, MC-chan. 

Acedia-kun walked towards me. 

MC: A-Acedia-kun!? 

Acedia: I thought that I should have some meals with you every once in a while. 

(Acedia-kun leaving his room on his own free will... Is he feeling okay?) 

When the two of us ate breakfast... 

Acedia: Haa... 

Acedia-kun deeply sighed when he puts his fork down. 

MC: What's wrong?

Acedia: Hmm... Eating is tiring... Hey, MC-chan. Feed me. 

MC: Eh!?

Acedia-kun opened his mouth and waited.

When we entered the hallway, there were some servants conversing with stern looks.

With the meeting coming close, it looked like their opinions are divided.

Acedia-kun came out and walked over to them. 

Servant 1: Acedia-sama, please wait. If you want to know about the opinions on the meeting... 

Acedia: Hmm. I have faith in everyone. That's what I've decided to do up till now after all. 

Servant 2: Although, this time... 

After listening to the servant till the end, Acedia-kun walked towards his room. I was curious about the troubled servants, but I followed him from behind. 

Acedia: Ah, I'm so full. 

When Acedia-kun entered his room, he jumped towards his bed and started to make himself comfortable. We could still hear the servants arguing outside the room. 

MC: Acedia-kun... Is it okay for you not to attend the meeting? 

Acedia: Hmm. What do you think, MC-chan? 

Acedia-kun looked at the ceiling as he murmured that. 

Acedia: Hmm, let's change the question. What do you think about me working hard?

As Acedia-kun stared at me, he waited for my response anxiously.
