Chapter 5 - Scattering the Drug

When the unknown man was advertising a drug that can make coral beautiful, Corail-kun narrowed his eyes happily with a smile.

When I followed Corail-kun's gaze, music was suddenly playing from the submarine... The fish became drawn towards that sound and swam around the coral as if they were dancing.

As tiny bubbles were rising to the water surface, the light they reflected made the coral shine. Fish were swaying around as they swam beautifully around them. 

(Pretty... This is the first time I've seen such a sight.) 

As warmth was expanding within my heart, I became deeply moved. 

Corail: The coral and fish from before have gotten better!

When Corail-kun said that to reassure me, he happily smiled. 

Corail: It's thanks to you working hard with us!

MC: No, I didn't do anything... But, I'm really glad. 

Drawn to Corail-kun's smile, I smiled as well. During the graceful moment, we watched the peaceful looking ocean.

MC: That? 

Corail: Yeah, that light pink coral!

As Corail-kun's cheek softly touched my head, he pointed towards outside the glass. Holding back my loud heartbeat, I looked to where he was pointing at. 

MC: Wow... What a pretty color. It's cute. 

Corail: Yeah, it's called peach coral. 

Among the subtle colored coral that were lined up, my eyes were drawn to the particularly light pink one. 

Corail: Peach coral is called Angel Skin. 

MC: Angel Skin...? 

(Angel, that's kind of like Corail-kun.) 

When I slowly looked at the side of Corail-kun's face as I thought of that... Corail-kun slowly looked towards me. 

Corail: Speaking of angel... That's just like you!

MC: T-That's not true!

Corail: No, it's true. Because you're cute like an angel. 

The sound of my heartbeat became louder to the point that Corail-kun might hear it. 

Corail: Look, your cheeks are pink now, it's really cute. Thank you so much, for protecting the coral and the fish with me... 

As Corail-kun looked at me with his bright eyes that looked like they have gathered all the light in the ocean... I felt myself becoming attracted to that clear light blue color...
