Chapter 5 - A Sad Tone

After Forma saved me... Since the effects of the drug that was used on me when I was abducted was still remaining, my head felt a little dizzy. 

Forma: Are you okay? 

As Forma was supporting me, we somehow arrived at the castle. 

(Even though Forma doesn't look well himself too.) 

MC: Yes, thank you. 

Forma: It's good that you're all right. It'd be best for you to leave this kingdom already. 

MC: Forma...

Forma: You got dragged into all this completely. Who knows what'll happen from here on too. 

Forma gently pushes me to go to bed. 

Forma: It's already late for the night, so you should take your time to sleep. I'll be with you. 

I couldn't tell what Forma was thinking from looking at his face. Although, he sounded somewhat sad...

The next day... 

MC: ...Mm. 

As soon as I woke up, I saw that the room had turned red. 

MC: I... 

As Forma was sitting beside the bed, he looked at me worriedly. 

Forma: You were asleep the entire day. Are you okay? 

MC: Yes, I'm okay. Thank you. 

Forma: I'll go call the royal doctor. 

After Forma said that, he got up from the chair and was about to leave the room. As I watched him leave from behind, I suddenly felt loneliness rising... 

MC: Don't go... 

I said that without thinking. 

Forma: MC? 

Forma turned towards me in surprise.

As Forma lowered a brow, his cheeks turned red a little.

When Forma adjusted his glasses, he slowly sat down in the chair again.

As Forma was looking straight at me, his expression softened up soon after.

That gentle smile warmed up my heart.

MC: ...Yes.

As Forma looked like he has made some kind decision, he looked straight at me. 

Forma: Then, stay by my side for a while longer. 

MC: Forma... 

Forma gently hugs me. 

Forma: I really can't see anything on you. But... I want to see your feelings. 

Forma's hand that had his warmth in it gently petted my head. 

MC: Okay...

Forma: Look at my eyes... 

I was being reflected in his dark yellow eyes. 

Forma: They're beautiful clear eyes... 

MC: ...Forma. 

Forma gently touched my lips. 

Forma: MC... 

Then, those fingers traced my lips lovingly next...

When he removed his glasses with his free hand, Forma's face slowly got closer to me. Just as his breath became close, I slowly closed my eyes. Then, my entire body felt a sweet numbness from the kiss that was pressed against my lips. As the warm red sunlight was entering from the window, it gently enveloped us...
