As I was unable to move my body due to a wizard's curse, I was taken to a room that Gauche-kun has prepared.
As I was lying in the bed, I was looking up at the ceiling while listening to everyone talk.
Butler: Gauche-sama, we've found the person who casted the curse.
Gauche: Who did it!?
Butler: It was a wizard named Malik.
Gauche: Malik...? Never heard of him.
Butler: According to our information, it seems like that man has a one-sided grudge against you...
Gauche: Give me the details...
Butler: Yes. Malik is a famous wizard in town and the people adore him deeply. Whenever a problem arises, Malik would lend a hand and resolve it. Although, on the day of a big fire, Malik's magic didn't have enough power to extinguish it... Then, when you just happen to be present, you extinguished it so easily and the people put their trust in you the next minute.

Gauche-kun made an annoyed look.
Butler: ...That caused him to hold a grudge against you. Since then, Malik's whereabouts became unknown and his grudge towards you has kept on growing.
Gauche: What an idiotic reason to have MC go through this!
Gauche-kun hit the table.

Butler: He seems to be residing in a small cabin in the forest, but... He hasn't been seen.

I had a bad feeling when I heard the desperation in the butler's voice.

Butler: But, Gauche-sama...! This magic will make you give up all of yours. If you use it, you'll be...!

Even though I wanted to speak, I couldn't.
(Gauche-kun...!)
Gauche: ...
Gauche-kun ignored the butler and began to recite the spell.
(Stop...!)
Butler: Gauche-sama...!
After reciting it, he snapped his fingers...
MC: !
When warmth suddenly went through my entire body, it felt lighter.
(The curse is lifted...!?)
MC: Gauche... -kun...
I looked at Gauche-kun as he was standing in the middle of the room.

He looked at me with a tired expression...
Last Chapter - A Request for Love
After Gauche-kun's magic undid the curse, I got up from the bed.
MC: Gauche-kun...!

Gauche-kun ran up to me and placed his hand on my back to support me.
MC: I'm... okay now.
Gauche: I know that, but...
Gauche-kun hugged me close at that moment.

MC: ...Thank you for saving me.
Gauche: Didn't I promise that I would save you?

I felt uneasy when I thought about what the butler said.

He went outside to take care of the people in the hallway. I was feeling nervous as I was waiting for what Gauche-kun was going to say...
A few days later at night...
While I was sitting on the sofa, I hung my head down as I was thinking until I heard a knock on the door.
Gauche: It's me. I'm coming in.
MC: Gauche-kun...
I got up to greet Gauche-kun, but for some reason, I couldn't smile.
Gauche: You're making that face again, are you still pondering about it?

In exchange for undoing the curse, all of Gauche-kun's magic disappeared. Since Gauche-kun's powers and position were taken away, I couldn't help, but worry about it.
