Chapter 7 - Training Start!

Gerald: The truth is, I'm really not that athletic... At a life-threatening level.

Gerry's troubles were pretty unexpected... 

Gerald: ... 

Gerry looked out the window with a melancholic look. 

MC: Um... Then, you're going to try to become an action actor...? 

Gerald: ...

MC: ...

MC: Then, how about you try to sneak in some training for a while?

I've been seeing him during his training time to help him.

When he began running, he sprained his foot in just 5 minutes and when he did some muscle training, the joints of his shoulders gave out.

Manager: Anyone would be frantic if they have received this kind of offer! An offer for you to appear in the new love romance masterpiece has arrived! This is amazing! It's from none other than the director, Tell Beaton!

Gerald: !!

Manager: Yes! The royal family of Kenal has served as movie directors for generations in Bioscope in this kingdom. Even though Tell has filmed all different kinds of genres... His younger brother, Will, specializes in horror. 

MC: To think that it was that kind of kingdom... 

Manager: Aside from that, the most recent love romance that Tell is filming cannot have any mistakes! That's why he wants Gerry this time and also!

Right there, the manager turned his gaze towards me. 

MC: ...? Ah, me... Does he want me to step aside? 

Manager: No, he has heard about you too. He talked about wanting to put you in it as well. 

Gerald: Why MC? Don't waste time, hurry and tell us. 

Manager: Yes, that's because...

Due to the sudden topic on hand, I couldn't respond with that gaze on me... 

Gerald: I... If MC is the role of my partner, I'll take it. 

MC: ...!

My eyes widened from those unexpected words. 

MC: Then, what about your dream of wanting to try out in being in an action movie... 

Gerald: Of course, I want to follow that dream. But... If you'll be playing the role of the romance film's heroine, I wouldn't like it if the role of your partner wasn't me. 

MC: Eh... 

When Gerry said that, I got caught by his straightforward gaze... 

Chapter 9 - Gerry's Guidance to Acting

Gerald: I... If MC is the role of my partner, I'll take it.

Gerald: Of course, I want to follow that dream. But... If you'll be playing the role of the romance film's heroine, I wouldn't like it if the role of your partner wasn't me.

Gerry's straightforward words made me speechless. 

Gerald: ...You don't want to? 

When he approached me, he held my right hand with both of his hands. As there was a lively look in those eyes...

MC: Gerry... 

Even so, I couldn't say much due to the unexpected topic at hand... 

Gerald: MC, you told me. You'll never know unless you try... 

(Ah...)

MC: You'll never know unless you try... Please let me help you too. 

-Flashback-

Gerald: You gave me courage. Even though I'm being selfish about this... If you, the person I love perform in a film that I love... I would be very happy.

Gerry held my hand tightly. As I couldn't look away from his serious gaze... 

MC: ...Okay. 

I lightly nodded. 

Gerald: Thank you, MC!

Gerry hid his happiness by shouting that. Thus... Along with Gery, I was going to perform in a movie...

Once the manager responded to the production company, they started immediately. Since I don't have any action experience, I've started practicing vocalizing, costume fitting and reading the script out loud... Gerry has attended to all of those as much as he could. 

Gerald: Right there, you'll show some presence if you act more reserved. 

MC: Like... this? Am I putting too much movement in my acting? 

With the script in my other hand, I was getting worried... 

Gerald: Let's see, if you try putting your fingers like this... 

As he supported my back, he gave me acting tips...

Gerald: It'll be best to lower your chin more. 

His long slender fingers touched my chin. Then, he pressed his other hand against my stomach... 

Gerald: If you focus on your stomach here, your voice will come through more.

As it felt like Gerry was hugging me from behind, my heart started to become noisy from feeling his body warmth. Even so, I have to take this seriously when I'm working with him in the movie.

Last Chapter - Indescribable Lines

As the days of the intense special training with Gerry have passed, it was finally time to start filming the movie... The topic of the movie was a love story about a town girl and a noble's love developing during the good old days. The town girl that left her hometown met a noble that was hiding his social status and they spend many days together... So, for the scene that was chosen on the first day of filming... 

The filming site was at a nice town that had a sense of nostalgia to it. 

Director: Okay, we're going to do their encounter for today's filming. 

Due to feeling nervous, what he said didn't reach my ears. 

(What should I do...) 

I didn't realize that I was holding my own hand tightly. Then, Gerry spoke to me softly as he was looking at me like that. 

Gerald: Are you okay...? You're looking quite stiff. 

MC: Y-Yes... Since this is my first time being filmed, I'm having a hard time breathing... 

Gerald: It's okay to feel that way, just follow my every lead. 

When he slowly and softly said that, he gently patted my shoulder. I could feel my breath that was held in going through my lungs. 

Director: Now then, scene 32, from their encounter to them looking around town, we'll be going nonstop.

The cameras started rolling... While being filmed, I felt at ease as I was with Gerry.

As I was following Gerry's lead, the filming was proceeding without a hitch and by the time evening was approaching, my nervousness had disappeared completely. 

(Even though I'm acting, walking in an unknown town with Gerry like this is fun...) 

The unknown street corner... The unknown water fountain in the park. The young noble showing all sorts of things in town to the clueless girl that left her hometown. It was like a sweet moment during a date... 

Gerald: MC, you seem to be having fun during filming. 

MC: Yes. It's thanks to you. 

When he said that to me during breaktime, I responded with a smile. Then... 

Gerald: Fufu... Your smile from this morning was nice too. 

Gerry's beautiful hand gently caressed my cheek. 

MC: R-Really? 

Gerald: Yes. Your firm expression was warming me up like this... 

When I felt the warmth from Gerry's palm, I felt a different kind of nervousness running through my body. 

Gerald: Look, it seems like it's almost time to film the night scene, we should go. 

Gerry walked towards the staff that were beginning to gather at the scene. I quickly followed him from behind...

When the filming started again, we were doing the scene at the end of the day of the two people's encounter, where they'll be wandering around while riding a horse in town at night. It's a very important scene that shows them beginning to realize how they feel towards each other and they end up becoming lovers... 

Gerald: Look. Milady, that nightly view... It's as if our encounter is being celebrated... 

MC: Yes, it's really beautiful. 

While following the lines in the script, Gerry continued saying them softly. Although, I was feeling ticklish from Gerry's affectionate voice. 

(Even though he's only acting...) 

His hands that were pulling the reins supported my body securely.

As I was warm from feeling his body heat up close, I felt myself succumbing to the gentle atmosphere. 

MC: ...

Gerald: ... 

During the awkward silence, Gerry touches my hair with his fingers in a casual manner. Within the close distance that made it feel like we were lovers, he softly whispered in my ear. 

Gerald: ...Your line. 

MC: ...! Y-Yes, where I'm from, night was darker and scarier. Even so, like these wonderful lights right now... You brighten up the night. 

Gerald: That's nice, my adorable lady. 

When he winked, I sighed in relief. 

(What a relief, I managed to do it well...) 

Gerald: Although, you're more beautiful than this nightly view to me. 

MC: ... 

As Gerry held my shoulder, he placed his lips against my face. 

Gerald: I wish I could be with you more closely... 

His lips that were close were starting to tickle my cheek. 

MC: ...!? 

(That line... Was that in the script?) 

As I tried to hold back my slightly loud heartbeat, I turned towards him... 

Gerald: ... 

Gerry made a bit of a mischievous smile. 

Gerald: Hey, there's something I want to know. I wnat ot hear how you feel from your own lips... ...MC. 

MC: !!

When he added my name to that last line... He said it very softly, so that only I can hear it... 

(Was that... an act? Or maybe...) 

As my heartbeat was gradually becoming noisy, I started to feel heat in my cheeks... Although, I couldn't tell if that was an act or his true feelings. Right now, as I was standing in the same scene as him at this moment, I was certain about the truth...

MC: I want to be with you forever... ...Gerry... 

When I whispered that to only him, Gerry smiled beautifully. Although, as he was looking at me with that smile, I could feel his overflowing joy. 

Gerald: ... 

Gerry's face slowly approaches me. Then, when I felt the warm sensation of his lips over mine, I entrusted everything to him...
