The next day after secretly going out to town with Lid to play...

I spoke to him cheerfully, but... 

Lid: Yeah...

Lid: No... Sorry, it's time for my official duties soon. 

After saying that, Lid quickly walked away from me.

Lid: ...I'm not pushing myself to say this. But, I think Brother would take good care of you. 

After Lid said that, I was so surprised that it made my heart hurt.

Lid: ... 

Although, Lid didn't wait for my words, he turned around and started walking.

MC: Because you're... the one I enjoy being with. I want to do more various things with you, Lid.

Just as I felt my tears about to fall for some reason, I did what I could to hold them in. Lid gave me a troubled look as his eyes were shaking... 

Lid: ...Are you okay with me? 

Then, he said that softly. 

MC: Lid... You're the one I love the most. 

Lid: The most...? 

Lid held my hand tightly in return. 

Lid: Haha... I don't want to hand you over to Brother if you say something like that. 

When he suddenly pulled my hand strongly, my face was brought to his chest.

Lid: I enjoy being with you too. But, I didn't have the self-confidence. In the past... I would think that I was no match for Brother and Tiga. I thought that I would never become the best in anything than anyone. 

Lid hugged me strongly. 

Lid: But, you said that you were fine with me. That made me really happy!

When he gently brushed up my bangs, he placed a kiss on my forehead. 

MC: Lid...

The warmth that touched my forehead made my cheeks blush. Then, the next moment, Lid's lips were getting closer to mine... 

MC: Mm... 

While Lid gave me a gentle kiss, his feelings were conveyed clearly as he held me tightly in his arms again.

Then, his face slowly parted away from me. 

Lid: Hehe... 

With his face all red, Lid smiled bashfully... 

Lid: Okay! I'm going to declare war against Brother!

Suddenly, he shouted that brightly. 

MC: D-Declaring war is... 

Lid: I'm going to do my best to take care of you!

Those words made my heart shine brightly like a jewel. 

MC: ...Okay!

As Lid pulled my hand, a bright feeling was overflowing within me...
