Chapter 7 - I'll Be Waiting for You

Two days since then, I've continued to think about what I've heard from Hatter-san the entire time. Then, on the night before the promised day with him...

Hatter: What I should do from here on, I've already came up with that answer. Lady MC... What will you do...

I was thinking that the entire time as I laid on the bed in the room I was using. 

(But, what if Hatter-san wishes for me to become the new Alice, I can't become Alice.) 

Even though I've been staying in Madness up till now, I'll have to leave someday. 

(Also, the Hatter-san in the world right now doesn't seem so bad...) 

When I slowly made my decision from the feelings in my heart, I only nodded. 

Then, when night turned to dawn before I knew it... When I arrived at the sky garden that we agreed to meet at, over there was... 

Hatter: ...

Chapter 8 - Please Let Me Be a Servant of Love

The sky garden was different than the time of the tea party that I was invited to before, it was quieter. 

Hatter: Now then, as for my answer... 

MC: P-Please wait!

Hatter: Oh... 

When I interrupted him with a shaky voice, Hatter-san blinked oddly. 

MC: ...After hearing you out before, I wanted to tell you how I feel. I can't stay here forever... That's why, I can't become the Alice that you talked about. 

Hatter: ... 

Hatter-san looked at me and closed his mouth. As a silent breeze blew between us, the flowers in the garden swayed. 

MC: Above all that, Hatter-san... I think you enjoy the world right now. 

Hatter: ...Me? 

MC: Yes. The time when you took me around town, at the shop and at the tea party that you invited me to from the start... You were always smiling. So... 

Hatter: ...I see. 

When his fingertips held the brim of his hat, I couldn't see his face as he covered most of himself with his silk hat. But then, his laugh that I heard started to mix in with the wind that was blowing in the garden. 

Hatter: It looks like this is my loss. 

MC: Eh...? 

At that moment, he lightly got behind me and held me by the waist. Just as his beautifully arranged face got closer in front of me... 

Hatter: Lady MC, you have betrayed my expectations. ...Although, that has some good significance. 

When he whispered my name with those appealing lips, my heartbeat increased. Feeling the heat in my cheeks, I became unable to move from nervousness and him holding my body. 

Hatter: It's true that this world isn't as wonderous as the time that Alice was here. But, when you appeared, it became filled with new wonders... Wondermare still can't disappear... In that case, I've made another decision about the path that I have chosen. 

The mysterious air around him changed completely when he went down on one knee. Then, his fingers reached out to me and held my hand. 

Hatter: Lady MC, aside from this world's change, I became charmed by you. Please, won't you let me a servant of your love? 

As an appeal, his slightly pale lips kissed my fingers. As it felt like my heart was about to burst as it was pounding so fast, I only looked at him. 

MC: ...Are you all right... with me? 

Hatter: Yes, my little princess. 

There was an aggressive look in his beautiful emerald eyes. I became completely charmed by those jewellike eyes. 

Hatter: How nice...! Now then, starting from today, I am your one and only Mad Hatter!

MC: Hatter-san!? 

When he suddenly picked me up... He softly kissed my ear and whispered the same words to me. 

Hatter: Now then, let's hold a tea part at once and announce this reality officially... ...Okay? 

When he winked, he placed his index finger in front of his mouth. As he smiled like a little boy, I was unable to look away from it... 

Chapter 9 - I Want You to Smile

Hatter: Please, won't you let me a servant of your love?

The next day... As Hatter-san was working with a smile, he wrote down invitations. It said that I was going to be introduced as his lover in Wondermare...

Then, it was the day of the tea party. At the sky garden in his building, it was overflowing with invitees from in and out of Madness. 

Town Leader: Who would've thought that you, who has been alone for many years, would fall in love... 

Regular Madam: For the Mad Hatter to be crazy in love... How nice!

Hatter: Oh, you're all rather harsh. 

Many people, who have shown up at the tea party the other day, have come to greet us and give their blessings to Hatter-san and me. Each time, Hatter-san would happily introduce me. 

(My eyes are spinning a little, but it still feels unbelievable... For me to become this person's lover...) 

Hatter: Oh, Lady MC, you should smile more. 

MC: O-Okay... 

Hatter: Fufu, very good. I just want to show off your adorable face while introducing you to everyone. 

When he said that while being surrounded by people's gazes, my cheeks became warm... 

Thus, the lively tea party came to an end. After the people have left, it was just the two of us remaining in the garden. 

Hatter: ...It's finally just the two of us. 

As Hatter-san snuggled up beside me, he murmured that lifelessly... 

Last Chapter - Give Me the Wonders of You

In the night sky, stars were sparkling brightly... On top of the table that was covered with a white tablecloth, all kinds of sweets and tea remains. When Hatter-san picked up a pink macaron... 

Hatter: I really couldn't bear all that boredom, but of course, boasting about you gave me a sense of superiority... 

MC: ...? 

With a chuckle, he placed the macaron in my mouth. 

Hatter: Isn't it obvious? I really wanted it to be just the two of us... Everyone stayed longer than I expected after all... 

MC: ...You're the one who said that you wanted to hold a tea party, Hatter-san. 

Hatter: Yes. That's because I wanted to say that I'm in a relationship with such an adorable lady. Even though it only took a few hours, to think that it would be this hard to be unable to have you all to myself... 

Sighing in disgust, his fingers traced my lips that had a macaron in it for just a moment. 

Hatter: How unexpected. 

As his fingers were touching my lips... That ticklish feeling made my body twist around. 

Hatter: Lady MC, if you'd like, won't you have a tea party with just me from here on? 

As Hatter-san poured some tea into a cup, he asked me that. 

MC: ...Yes, we didn't really talk much after all. 

Then, at that moment, he pinned me down on top of the table. 

MC: H-Hatter-san? 

Along with the sound of tea utensils clinking, it felt like some tea was about to spill on the pure white tablecloth. Regardless of my cheeks blushing from the sudden action, Hatter-san chuckled and smiled amusingly. 

Hatter: Now then, how about we try this violet sugar candy first? 

When he picked up a purple candy from a cute small porcelain box, he showed it in front of my eyes. 

MC: what a pretty color... 

Hatter: I'm sure that it'll look good in your small lips. I gave you a macaron just a moment ago, but let's put this in our lips next... how about it? 

When he said that seductively with an affectionate voice, the candy got closer in front of me.

As my heart was being noisy, his fingers were pressed against my lips. Then...

Just as the sugar candy in my hand has fallen on top of the embroidered table, he snatched my lips away by force.

The kiss had the taste of flower honey. Then, when I felt myself becoming intoxicated from the adult man's captivating scent... 

MC: Hatter... -san, y-you shouldn't!

I pounded against his chest to stop him from kissing me and... 

Hatter: You are just so cute. To think that this woman is my lover, I can't take it anymore...

Hatter: My apologies, I might've teased you a little too much, but isn't your heart racing?

When I thought about it for a while...

When I responded reservedly while feeling embarrassed, his lips were on mine again. The kiss was more sweeter and gentle than the sugar candy... Within his arms, I instantly melted as I entrusted myself to him...
