Chapter 5 - Feeling Like Blushing

When I opened the door, I couldn't do anything, but blink from the scene before me. 

MC: Wow... 

There was a bouquet, along with lots of fruits and sweets placed against the wall. 

MC: Could this be...

Rufen: I'll bring you something else to eat. What do you like? Something sweet like cake? And what else? What do you like? 

-Flashback-

MC: What we talked about at that time... Everything that I like... 

Rufen: Are you awake? 

MC: Rufen... 

When Rufen ran over here, I held both of his hands. 

MC: Rufen, thank you!

Rufen: Y-Yeah!

Just as his face turned red, he turned away from me. 

MC: Rufen? 

(What's wrong... He's not looking at me.) 

MC: What's wrong? 

Rufen: I-It's nothing... I'm just the same as usual!

(Rufen is acting completely different than yesterday...) 

When he looked at me for just a slight moment, he turned away again soon after. While he was looking away, his ears were turning red... 

Last Chapter - I Want to Get to Know You

I was unable to hide my confusion when Rufen was suddenly acting different than usual. 

(What's wrong with Rufen...?) 

MC: Rufen, are you okay? 

Rufen: I'm sorry for dragging you around before!

Suddenly, Rufen energetically lowered his head. 

MC: W-Why are you apologizing...? 

Rufen: I need to be sincere and apologize to you!

Rufen's Brother: First, apologize properly for pushing her around. Don't you love her?

As my face was becoming warm before I knew it, Rufen continued his words. 

Rufen: I'm really sorry, even though you were so tired! I thought that you were happy that I... 

MC: Y-Yeah... I was really happy. 

Rufen: R-Really!? 

MC: Once I got better, I wanted to try more food and look at all sorts of things. 

Rufen: You should really think more! Seeing the parade, watching the fireworks at night and also...

When we went to the courtyard, a warm breeze was blowing. We sat down in the white chairs in front of the white table that was set up in the courtyard.

Rufen: R-Really... Isn't there anything else that you want? It can be anything!

As his face was turning red, Rufen glanced towards me. When I got a ticklish feeling in my heart, my face became warm.

MC: What kind of things do you do?

MC: I want to know more about you, Rufen.

Rufen: Okay!

That bright smile made the feelings in my heart grow stronger.

When Rufen moved around the table and went in front of me, he happily rested his chin in his hand. 

MC: Then... First off, what's your favorite color? 

Rufen: Red! Because it's the color of the sun!

MC: What kind of place would you like to go to? 

Rufen: The ocean! Doesn't it seem so big? Also, I've never seen it before.

MC: Do you have any siblings? 

Rufen: I have two older brothers! One that is helpful and one that has a soft voice! I have a cousin too!

As I got to know Rufen more, my heart throbbed loudly.

The moment I thought about it as I looked up at the sky... Just as my vision became covered in darkness, he placed his lips over mine.

As Rufen's body was set on the table from across, he slowly backed away from me. 

Rufen: T-The girl that I love... is you!

Rufen looked at me with his face all red.

When I showed him a bright smile, he placed his lips on mine again. My heart became filled with a sweet feeling that was like the scent of flowers...
