Chapter 7 - Soft Sensation

Inui: Hey, you...

Due to what was happening suddenly, I couldn't speak. As I was stiffening up, his lips were slowly approaching me...

I closed my eyes, expecting the soft sensation of our lips touching. At that moment, I heard a deep chuckle.

MC: Practice...?

Those were the exact words that describes Inui-san as he was leading everyone while performing. The moment the song ended, Inui-san exhaled and raised his face. 

Inui: We were in perfect sync. Time for a break. 

After saying that, Inui-san noticed me and beckoned me to come over. 

MC: That was amazing. It had such a strong impact... It was nice. 

Inui: That's what I wanted to show you. ...Were you charmed? 

MC: That's... 

When he smiled broadly, I held in my words.

Musician: Yes!

The musician started playing again with Inui-san's advice. It sounded steadier than before, but I wouldn't call it perfect. 

Inui: Just 4 more days until the praying ceremony... 

As Inui-san murmured that intensely, he crossed his arms. There were some calluses on his fingers.

When I remembered how he was practicing late at night, I spoke. 

MC: Since it's you, I'm sure that you'll be able to lead everyone.

Watching me panic, Inui-san smiled amusedly. 

Inui: I'm joking. I'm saying that I'm grateful to you. Come on, let's go. 

Without hearing my response, Inui-san held my hand and started walking. I felt my cheeks heating up from the warmth of our connected hands...

Last Chapter - A Sweet and Forceful Kiss
