Chapter 6 - Remaining Dream Power

As the meteor lines were looking bright, we became drawn towards a single shooting star. 

(Pretty...) 

At that moment...

Adam: Uu... 

While looking up at the sky together, Adam suddenly scowled. 

MC: Are you okay...? 

Adam: MC... 

When he looked at me after opening his eyes, there was a vivid warmth within them. 

Adam: This kingdom... 

MC: Eh? 

Adam: We had a party with everyone in this kingdom... We played games and it was really fun.

When thin clouds were spreading around in the sky, the light of the bright stars became faint... Beyond this sky, the people that are precious to Adam are waiting.

MC: Let's go back to Trugville to see your brothers. Everyone will be really happy. 

Adam: I'm anxious to see everyone too, but... But, we might not make it... I don't think I can keep them in until we return...

MC: Eh...? 

As he made a strained expression, I felt an uneasiness rising.

MC: I'll make sure that they'll get delivered to everyone.

Just as Adam's words stopped, his expression quickly turned pale. 

MC: What's wrong? 

Adam: Everyone's faces from when we were kids... I can't remember them... Just as I was on the verge of remembering, the inside of my head became hazy...

Seeing how frustrated he was made a burning irritation run through my heart...

MC: If there's something that you want to do, tell me. I'll whatever it is...!

Adam: I... I want to protect you, I want to see the World of Dreams. 

When Adam held my hand, he gave me a serious demanding look... As I felt his cold body temperature, my heart throbbed greatly... 

Last Chapter - Within the Light

As house lights here and there looked like twinkling stars on the ground... Adam burned that vast scenery underneath the moon into his memory. 

Adam: This world is overflowing with light... It's so beautiful. I saw all kinds of sights... No, I'm going to see more from here on. 

MC: Yes... That's right. 

With his memories about to disappear again, Adam gently smiled. After that expression made my heart tighten, I casted my eyes down. 

Adam: MC. I don't have any regrets. 

Adam gently caressed my hair as if he was trying to reassure me. 

Adam: With Fllayg-nii-san unharmed too, I'm living with my family. You guys and everyone in the World of Dreams made my wish come true. 

When the light shined on Adam's smile, he looked the most happiest since the time we've met.

While enduring the pain my heart was suffering from, I did my best to smile. 

MC: I'll always support you, so that you can live happily with your brothers. 

Adam: You saying that reassures me. ! 

 The moment a strong wind suddenly blew, Adam's expression turned slightly warped. His body staggered a little and just as I was about to place my hand on him...

MC: I still have so many things I wanted to talk about with you...

As he sounded like he was in pain, my heart throbbed the next moment... 

Adam: MC, I still have something that I haven't told you yet... 

When Adam placed both of his hands on my cheeks, our faces stopped at a breathing distance. 

Adam: For me who has been in the darkness to be in the light like this now... Even though I ran away many times... You accepted me... It's thanks to you always chasing after me. 

Adam's soft voice made me stiffen up even more. With his memories gradually fading away, it seemed like he was desperately trying to keep them in. 

MC: That's because I wanted you to live, Adam... 

As it felt like I was about to let a single tear fall, I stopped speaking. 

Adam: ...All that I do is make you sad. Even though something like this... makes me love you. 

MC: !

The moment his soft voice made my heart skip a beat, tears finally fell from my eyes. Adam wiped my wet cheek with his thumb. 

Adam: I could always look at your light many times... Living normally, smiling with you... Also, if I fell in love... I wonder what kind of happiness that'll be. 

The image that he was imagining was surrounded by a bright light... My heart was overflowing with my feelings towards Adam. 

MC: Me too... I love you, Adam. 

Adam: I'm happy... 

Even though we were happy from our feelings being conveyed to each other, tears began to flow down from my eyes again. 

Adam: MC, don't cry... I'm not going to disappear in front of you... I am me. 

When Adam hugged me, he kissed me. 

Adam: From now on, me and my family's future... Your light... will make it brighter... 

The next moment after Adam finished talking... The gentle warmth parted from me when he fell to his knees at that spot. 

MC: Adam...!

MC: ...

I returned a smile to that eased gentle look in Adam's eyes.
