Chapter 1 - Arbitro's Famous Song

Kingdom of Judgement, Arbitro, November... 

In Arbitro, the Kingdom of Judgement, the streets had majestic stone steps that had a historic feeling to them as they were laid out in order. When I received an invitation from Prince Dulfer to come visit the kingdom for waking him up, I was led to the castle immediately...

When I entered the room, someone that could be instantly mistaken for a woman was waiting there. 

(Dulfer-san.) 

With angelic white wings that goes along with his transparent clothes and well-featured looks... I looked at him in a daze and when he noticed me, he smiled elegantly at me. 

Dulfer: Welcome. I've been waiting for you. 

As his beautiful wavy jade-colored hair shined brightly, the long purple hem of his clothes showed the outline of his sculpture-like body beautifully. 

MC: Ah... Thank you for inviting me. 

When I became late in greeting him from looking at his beautiful appearance, I quickly bowed. 

Dulfer: MC-chan. That's a beautiful sounding name. Allow me to introduce myself again. I'm Dulfer. Feel free to call me that. 

MC: Okay... Dulfer, I'm looking forward to getting along with you. 

Dulfer: Same here. In Arbitro, the Kingdom of Judgement, it's my duty to sing songs.

When I thought about Dulfer's beautiful singing voice, my heart started to become noisy.

Then, Dulfer spreads out his white wings. Once he took a deep breath, he released a clear singing voice soon after.

When Dulfer started singing, his voice was beautiful, yet different from when he was talking.

After his wings were spread out widely right till the end, they slowly folded on his back. Once the song has ended, a single feather lightly fell in the palm of my hand. 

MC: That was wonderful. 

Dulfer: Did you like it?

When he said that as he smiled elegantly, my cheeks became warm.

At that moment... When the door suddenly opened, a large group of women barged in. 

MC: Eh...!

Woman 1: Dulfer-sama, we brought some wine and food. 

Woman 2: Shall we have a party? Shall we!

Dulfer: Oh, dear. 

The women instantly started setting up a party.

While I was bewildered, Dulfer became surrounded by a lot of women.

When I stepped back into a corner, I watched while I was alone. 

Dulfer: MC-chan? 

Then, when Dulfer noticed me like that, he smiled and signaled me to come over.

Dulfer: Come on, hurry. 

As I was being lured by that beautiful voice, I walked over to Dulfer.

When Dulfer pulled my hand, I ended up sitting on his lap before I knew it.

Dulfer: There we go♪

As he held me up with his handsome face nearby, my hear instantly started becoming noisy. 

MC: I-I'm sorry!

Just as I was about to get up in a panic, I was unable to move due to him holding me strongly. 

Dulfer: It's fine. I wanted to do this. 

MC: Eh... 

Woman 3: No fair. Dulfer-sama, me too~

Dulfer smiled at the surrounding women that were slightly pouting. 

Dulfer: Wait your turn, wait your turn♪

Then, when his beautiful fingers reached for the prepared food... 

Dulfer: Here, eat up. Try eating this seedless grape. It's very sweet and juicy. 

As his long fingers were holding a grape, he softly pressed it against my mouth. When it went in my mouth after I opened it a little, the sweet juice from the bursting fruit melted on my tongue. 

Dulfer: Is it good? 

When his gentle hand caressed my hair, I turned red and lightly nodded. As it felt like I was becoming drunk from that fruit... I felt myself becoming unsteady... 

Chapter 3 - Napping in the Shade

A few days later... 

As I was walking around in the castle courtyard, I found a comfortable looking spot underneath a tree. 

(The sunlight that's shining through the tree is beautiful. It's sparkling brightly...) 

When I went underneath the tree as if I was drawn to it, I saw white wings.

MC: ...Dulfer? 

Dulfer: Hey, we meet again. 

Dulfer looked like he was taking a break as he was sitting down near the tree roots. As his radiant face was looking up, the sunlight shined on it as it went through the tree. 

Dulfer: This is the best spot in the courtyard since it's so comfortable. You have good taste to choose this spot. 

After saying that, Dulfer reached out to me. When he held my hand with natural captivating movements, he urged me to sit next to him. 

MC: Are you alone?

(Before, he was surrounded by a lot of women.) 

When I somehow asked that, Dulfer quickly shook his head. 

Dulfer: Not really, no one's coming. Everyone has left me completely. 

MC: Left? 

I was surprised as I said that, but I placed my hand over my mouth because of how rude that sounded. Although, Dulfer didn't seem to be mad and just chuckled with a wry smile. When he looked somewhat sad, my heart tightened firmly.

Dulfer: Why did they leave me? 

His sad and gentle smile took hold of my heart. 

- Are you okay? (☼)

MC: Are you okay? 

Dulfer: I am now since you're here. 

After saying that, Dulfer caressed my hair. As I felt his warm hand, my heart became slightly noisy. 

(I feel like I'm the only one whose heart is racing.)

MC: Cooperative?

Dulfer: Yes, I was sad, yet I was being fawned upon. Isn't that selfish? 

MC: ...You were only thinking about each and every one of them.

When he happily made an innocent smile, I became relieved. 

Dulfer: Well... There seems to be another reason why people stay away from me though. 

Dulfer murmured that in a slightly hushed tone. 

MC: Eh? 

Dulfer: Nothing. 

After Dulfer silently closed his eyes, he gently smiled at me. 

Dulfer: I'm happy that you gave me some comfort. You're just like the sunlight through this tree. Whenever I want to get away from a girl, I look at the sky from underneath this tree and take a nap. It feels so warm here after all. Do you want to take a nap too? I'm sure that it'll feel nice. 

When Dulfer slid down, he laid down on a tree root as if he was treating it like a pillow. Then, he closed his eyes in comfort. 

MC: ...In that case. 

When I laid down next to him, I looked up at the sunlight through the tree and closed my eyelids. As I looked at the bright sunlight that was shining down through my eyelids, a comforting drowsiness took hold of me. Next to me, I could hear Dulfer's regulated breathing as he slept. 

(Dulfer... Is he already asleep?)

Just as I became surprised, I paced my breathing with his... Then, I slowly fell into the world of slumber...

Chapter 4 - A Sweet Awakening

When a cool breeze gently touched my cheek... 

MC: Mm...? 

Due to the sensation, I slowly opened my eyes and...

MC: ...!

Dulfer was looking at my face as the tips of our noses were at a touching distance. 

Dulfer: Good morning. What a cute sleeping face. 

Right in front of me, Dulfer chuckled with a smile. That laugh was slightly stimulating like his singing. 

Dulfer: Ah, I didn't do anything. I'm a gentleman after all. I was just surprised. 

MC: Eh? 

Dulfer: I get scolded for sleeping for as long as I like. Sleeping together with you... That's a first. 

(How embarrassing...)

Dulfer: When I woke up, I was surprised to see you like that too. 

MC: That's because... You were sleeping so comfortably. Also...

Dulfer: This is as thanks for being with me.

When my face instantly turned red, Dulfer smiled a little. 

Dulfer: Is it because of the kiss? I did it because I like you. Isn't it like wanting to eat the things that you like? 

MC: W-Wanting to eat... It's different from food. 

Dulfer: You look like an apple right now, MC-chan. Or maybe... Hmm, like a cherry? 

MC: ...!

As he was looking at my red face in a different way, I turned away from Dulfer, but he wouldn't let me as he had his hand on my cheek. 

MC: Dulfer, don't tease me... 

Dulfer: No? Could it be that you don't like them? 

MC: I like apples and cherries, but that's not the point... I'm a human being, not a fruit. 

(What am I saying...?) 

As heat was running around in my head, I couldn't understand what I was saying. 

Dulfer: Hm? You say such interesting things. But, I love apples and cherries too. We match. 

MC: ...

In the end, I couldn't respond towards that answer that didn't seem quite right. But... 

(That face he was making when he told me that he likes me...) 

HIs jade-colored eyes caught hold of my heart and wouldn't let go. 

Dulfer: How cute. MC-chan, I love you. 

When Dulfer said that so naturally as if he was breathing, my heart slightly ached. 

(Dulfer's meaning of "love"... It isn't something special. I'm sure that he says the same thing to everyone...) 

Even though I told myself that, my heartbeat won't stop being noisy...
