Chapter 1 - The Following Morning

It was on a day when we stopped by at a town during our journey from Circo* to Chocolute*... 

T/N: Nero, Morta, Drole and Welger's kingdom and Rica's kingdom

As the sunlight was shining in from the window, thin white lines were made on the pillow. As it was still a little early to be waking up... 

(I somehow woke up early...) 

When I heard a noise coming from the hallway, I moved my gaze from the window to the door. 

(Who could that be...?) 

When I slowly took a look in the hallway, I saw Fllayg-san heading towards the front door. 

(Could he be heading out? Where could he be going to this early in the morning?) 

After the Moon Road disappeared, the way back to Fllayg-san's own kingdom, "Trugville"... It went away. Even so, he became concerned about us as he made his usual gentle smile. 

(This whole time, I never had the chance to talk to him. Is Fllayg-san okay? If he's holding things back by himself...) 

When I became curious from that thought, I left the inn and followed him...

As morning arrived, the town was overflowing with a bit of liveliness. While going through the bustling crowds, I followed Fllayg-san from behind.

While pursuing him a little, I couldn't tell when would be a good time to stop...

Feeling hesitant that I could lose sight of him, I quickly turned into an alley. At that moment, I saw Fllayg-san in the alley as he was approaching the main road.

Just as I was about to hurry and go after him... Fllayg-san suddenly stopped right before he reached the main road.

While watching Fllayg-san fight, I thought about his words earlier.

As soon as the distance between them became close, he raised his sword above Fllayg-san. Although... Fllayg-san avoided the blade and struck the opponent's stomach with the handle of his sword.

The sword fell from the opponent's hand. Within that moment, Fllayg-san got into position with both hands on his sword.

The opponent took notice of something and stopped, but he was one step too late... Fllayg-san swung his sword down and destroyed the opponent's sword.

During the commotion in the area, Fllayg-san left after the opponent has fallen.

Then, as if he had just remembered something, he looked at the audience...

Fllayg: The match is over. Please feel free to give him some applause. 

After Fllayg-san looked at the opponent, he politely bowed. As if awakening from a dream, the place became filled with loud cheers a little after...

As the warm sunlight added flair to the quiet afternoon... Some children ran past us into the sunlight that was shining through the trees. 

Fllayg: The prize for winning the sword tournament, a new sword... 

While lightly swinging around the fancy ornamental sword, Fllayg-san shrugged his shoulders.

MC: I guess so.

As he wasn't worrying about Navi and Avi... His smile looked gentle as usual.
