Chapter 6 - Form of Protection

MC: Fllayg-san!

Fllayg: MC-san, what are you...!

Just as the blade swung up towards him, I jumped in front of Fllayg-san without thinking. As the blade was approaching in front of me, I froze. 

Fllayg: Doing something so foolish!

MC: ...!

From behind, Fllayg-san held me. 

Opponent: ...!

As I was in Fllayg-san's arms, I started regaining composure.

The opponent lost all his strength and sat down on the ground. 

Fllayg: She could've gotten hurt because you were the one swinging the sword around, right? Saying something so odd. 

Opponent: That's... 

The man's gaze wandered from Fllayg-san's words.

When I thought back to when my eyes met with the man's earlier, I hesitantly spoke.

Once he releases me, Fllayg-san turned around and started walking.

Last Chapter - A Vow in the Flower Field

As it felt awkward, I couldn't bring myself to stand beside him as I was walking behind him.
