Chapter 7 - The Giant Scarecrow's Rampage

Leeya: Giant Scarecrow No. 1, launch...!!

When Leeya-san shouted that... Giant Scarecrow No. 1 made a loud sound as it went straight through the sky. 

Leeya: Alright, it's doing okay so far. Once we break into town like this, we'll teach those guys a lesson...!

As Leeya-san was all excited, he took control of the scarecrow, but... 

Townsperson 1: Uwaaah!!

Townsperson 2: H-Help!

While repelling against the crows, it was mowing down the streetlights and ended up destroying the town walls when it raised it's fist... When it saw the crows as a threat, a light showed in it's eyes and show out a real beam.

Leeya: D-Dammit! It's out of control...!

As Leeya-san was panicking, he moved the joystick intensely. He hit the computer, rotated the screws and above all that, he even chanted some kind of spell...

Leeya: What do I have to do to stop it...!!

Leeya-san hits the joystick... 

(What should we do? At this rate, the town is going to get destroyed...) 

As it continued to destroy the town, things quickly got worse... 

Chapter 8 - Intelligence Showing

When the currently incomplete Giant Scarecrow No. 1 was activated, it ended up going on a rampage...

After Leeya-san did whatever he could, he hung his head down over the joystick. 

Leeya: It's still no good... Dammit... I'm, I'm... such an idiot. No matter how much knowledge I receive, an idiot will always stay as an idiot!!

MC: Pull yourself together, Leeya-san!

I desperately tried to stop him from hitting the joystick again. Leeya-san gave me a severely pained look. 

Leeya: Still, at this rate, the town is going to crumble down instead of the crows... 

MC: Please don't give up...!

Leeya: ...What are you saying...

Chapter 9 - The Town That Has Fallen to Ruin

In a rampage, Giant Scarecrow No. 1 continued to cause destruction as Leeya-san stood in front of it. 

MC: Leeya-san, look out...!

Leeya: I told you to stay behind me! Standing in the middle of the scarecrow's way right now is dangerous!

As I plugged my ears from the sound of destruction, Leeya-san shouted. 

Leeya: I have to do something! Even though Oswald's magic is fake, my magic is real...!

When he turned towards me and grinned proudly... His expression looked refreshingly tough.

After that, Leeya-san quickly drew a magic square on the ground... Just like the first time we've met, he began to chant some strange words... Meanwhile, the scarecrow continued to destroy the town and the moment he placed his feet on the magic square. 

Leeya: Come! Wind spirit!!

MC: ...!

A gust of wind was made and attacked the scarecrow by cutting it. Suddenly, the scarecrow's body was swaying...

When he shouted that, a paper sharp blade appeared and aimed towards the scarecrow. The scarecrow took a direct hit from it... Although, it still wouldn't break down.

After that... The scarecrow and Leeya-san continued fighting until they got worn out... 

Just as it seems like it was hopeless, the scarecrow finally stopped... 

MC: Leeya-san! It stopped!!

When I ran up to him as he had wounds all over his body, I shouted in joy, but...

Leeya-san looked around the destroyed town and hung his head down in disappointment.

Townsperson 4: Ah, it did mess everything up!

Townsperson 5: And it beat up those crows, Leeya-sama!

As Leeya-san stood still with a troubled look, I slowly got closer to him. 

MC: Everyone don't just see you as a hero, Leeya-san. They wanted to make you happy, so they wanted to get their feelings through to you by rebuilding this town...

Leeya: Everyone... 

MC: Also, they all want you to instruct them on what to do in their construction work. So, let's restore it to it's former state. 

Leeya: I see... I see... 

As Leeya-san's voice trembled, he covered his eyes with his hat. Then, when he raised his face, he smiled. 

Leeya: Hey, over there! Can you take over the construction work here? Hey, hey, you don't need to put anymore soil there!

Before I knew it, Leeya-san was back to his usual self. While giving directions efficiently, he strongly gave guidance to everyone. 

MC: This kingdom really is hopeless without you as their leader. 

Leeya: ...But, I'm this dumb. 

Townsperson 1: Leeya-sama, you're amazing. A genius...

Townsperson 2: But, you make mistakes too. You even got the town destroyed!

Everyone around us suddenly made bright smiles. When Leeya-san saw that, he made a troubled smile.

MC: Y-Yes...!

Leeya: What's with that? In that case, I'll make it hurt...!

He laughed as we were messing around... After making that promise, I felt warmth...
