Chapter 6 - Getting to Know Him

-Flashback-

Nayuta: That's why I want to make a lot of memories with you. Enough that'll make you remember them even after we part.

I felt sad about the thought of not seeing Nayuta-san after leaving this kingdom... 

Nayuta: Is there a place that you want to go to? 

I looked at Nayuta-san. 

MC: Ah, no, I was in a daze...

Nayuta: There are a lot of people that need the hot springs in this kingdom. I watch over the hot springs to make sure that they're making most of the people better properly.

I remembered how serious he looked at that time. 

MC: ...Please let me help by working at the hot springs. 

Nayuta: Eh, work? 

MC: ...I can't? 

When he looked at me... 

Nayuta: You really are an interesting person. Okay. Then, you can help me out by showing the hot springs village with me. 

As he said that, his tail was wagging happily. 

MC: Okay. 

When Nayuta-san held my hand so naturally, he started to walk carefreely... 

Chapter 7 - The Unreasonable Sisters

Since I'm helping Nayuta-san I've been tasked with the job of greeting the hot springs visitors.

MC: Welcome!

Even though I was nervous at my first job experience, Nayuta-san takes care of the visitors since he's used to it. 

Nayuta: Oh, welcome. Your back pain must be troubling you again. Take your time to relax. 

All sorts of people were coming in one after another, regulars and first-time visitors. 

MC: This is the reception. 

I did what Nayuta-san taught me by checking the licenses as proof of identity. 

Nayuta: Show the party of three to the paradise hot spring!

A servant that was done with reception followed Nayuta-san's orders and led the guests. 

(Even though he said that there's a limited amount of people that can enter...) 

The line at the reception was overflowing with guests. 

(To think that he deals with this many people every day...) 

While admiring Nayuta-san's job, I saw an elderly guest with a cane.

(Nayuta-san has been taking care of the guests. I want to guide them wholeheartedly too.) 

Since I've been observing Nayuta-san, I help out the guests that were asking for it and then...

I went over to where he was and there were two girls that were about the same age as me. 

Nayuta: I'm taking these sisters to the lovesickness hot spring, so come along.

He hid his ears with his hand, but his fluffy fur was completely visible.

As if I was tempted by his cute ears, I sat down next to him. 

Nayuta: Stupid! Don't look at me! ...Aah... I was completely careless. 

MC: Ah... I'm sorry! You didn't want to be seen... 

Nayuta: Hey, I had a little time, so I thought about playing hooky... Don't worry about it. 

Although, his ears were drooping. 

(They really are cute.) 

I broke into a smile. 

Nayuta: Ah, you're thinking that they're cute, aren't you? 

MC: N-No.

Nayuta-san grabbed both of my shoulders and forced me to turn the other way.

When I turned around, Nayuta-san's cat ears were already gone. 

MC: Sorry about earlier. 

Nayuta: You can stop saying that. So, what is it? 

MC: Ah... The attendant was looking for you. 

Nayuta: Then, that's fine. I'm working properly. 

Nayuta-san said that with a smile and then...

When his face suddenly became close, my heartbeat became noisy.
