Chapter 6 - The Day to Settle the Dispute

Jörmungandr was approaching... After receiving that report, Thor-kun looked at the guard with a stern expression. 

Thor: Is that report true? 

Guard: Yes... We've got a clear look of it from the tower. 

Thor: In other words, it's already pretty close... 

When Thor-kun murmured that, I softly gripped his sleeve. 

MC: Are you okay...?

Guard: Would you be needing support?

We heard a monster's roar from afar. 

Thor: ...Jörmungandr has come. Today's the day it is destined to be cut down!

With the Mjolnir in hand, Thor-kun ran off energetically. That back looked more stronger than before... 

Last Chapter - The Conclusion and Then...

As the battle between Thor-kun and Jörmungandr was fiercely carried out, the sun had gone down completely towards west.

When all the guards told me that I would be safe at the top of the watch tower, I watched Thor-kun while holding my breath. 

(It'll be okay. Because Thor-kun promised that he would return. So, I need to believe in him...!) 

While still feeling nervous, I watched Thor-kun and at that moment... 

Jörmungandr: GISHAAAAAA!

Jörmungandr threw an attack onto Thor-kun. Then, the next moment... 

Thor: I won't let you lay a hand on this kingdom, Jörmungandr! 

As Thor-kun bent down, he looked ahead with a strong look in his eyes... Facing the Jörmungandr that attacked him, he swung up the Mjolnir with all his strength. 

Jörmungandr: GISHAAAAAAA...!

Once Jörmungandr got hit by the Mjolnir hard, it's colossal body bent. Making use of that opportunity, Thor-kun stomped on the ground. 

Thor: I've fought you so many times up till now... But, this is the end for you!

Thor-kun dodged Jörmungandr's body like the wind as he ran up to it. 

Thor: I protect my kingdom. That's the duty that was given to me... But, that's not the only reason I'm fighting now! I have something to protect... A woman that I want to protect! That's why, Jörmungandr! This is the end! I must... keep my promise with her!

He strongly swung down Mjolnir... 

Thor: Sleep for eternity, Jörmungandr... 

Jörmungandr: GISHAAAAAAA...!

Jörmungandr's cries of agony echoed throughout the area.

Once it was known that Thor-kun has taken down Jörmungandr, it spread around town instantly... A celebratory feast was being held in the town and castle. 

(Everyone sure looks happy.) 

After I left first from the banquet that didn't look like it was going to end soon, I sat down on the sofa. Then, at that moment, there was a knock on the door... 

Thor: MC, are you in? 

MC: Ah... Thor-kun! I'll open it now. 

When I quickly opened the door, Thor-kun slipped into my room. 

Thor: Hurry and close it. If someone finds me, they'll take me back there again. 

MC: Thor-kun, you were surrounded by everyone. 

Thor: Yeah... Just their gratitude is enough, they don't have to continue on like that. 

As Thor-kun's beautiful face became strained troubledly, he smiled. 

Thor: But, it's thanks to you that i made everyone happy like this. 

MC: That's not true... I didn't do anything. 

Thor: No, didn't I promise you? That I would protect you. 

After he said that gently, Thor-kun lowered his long eyelashes. 

Thor: ...You were the first person to tell me that I didn't need to take all the burden by myself. 

MC: Is... that so?

MC: I'm important...?

MC: Eh...? 

Thor: If I say it clearly like this, a slow woman like you should get it. 

As he scowled in annoyance, Thor-kun's skin turned faintly red... 

MC: Is that... true? 

Thor: Don't make me say it a lot. 

After Thor-kun said that as he was slightly irritated, he hugged me. 

Thor: From now on, I'll protect you. So... Stay by my side forever. 

(Thor-kun...!) 

MC: Okay... 

When I gave that short response as I tried to hold back my fast heartbeat, Thor-kun gently smiled. 

Thor: Me too... I'll stay by your side forever. 

As I was in those robust arms, they hugged my body strongly...
