Chapter 6 - An Outburst of Envy

As dense clouds were hanging over in a street corner of Votaria... Right now, nervousness that I've never felt before was rushing through between us...

Vedy: Wha... Y-You guys... 

MC: ! Vedy-kun...!? 

Vedy-kun's piercing angry gaze shot through Cero-san as he was hugging me... 

Vedy: You bastard... What do you think you're doing to MC!!

MC: No, Vedy-kun!

Cero: ...!

As I was unable to stop him, Vedy-kun's fist landed a direct hit onto Cero-san's cheek. Then, the next moment...

Chapter 7 - An Unknown Envy

Dawn was coming into the night ever since Vedy-kun punched Cero-san. When I looked outside the window of the Votaria castle, the skies were cloudy as usual.

Cero: You don't have to give me an answer right away. I would like to hear it here in three days at dusk.

(That's what Cero-san said before he left, but...)

Vedy: A-Ah, I-I... Why did I... This... This messed up feeling that's overflowing in my chest...

(Vedy-kun looked really confused, is he okay...?) 

I couldn't forget about Vedy-kun when he ran off. 

(I'm really worried. I should go check on him a little...) 

When I thought of that, I left the room...

Butler: If it isn't MC-sama. Are you heading out? 

Passing by in front of the door, the butler said that as he smiled.

MC: Yes. I was going to see Vedy-kun for a bit...

At that moment, my heartbeat became noisily fast... When I thought back to when he was shouting in pain, the inside of my heart tightened. Then... 

MC: Vedy-kun... 

Vedy: ...! D-Don't! I told you not to come near me!

Vedy-kun was still throwing scornful words at me, but I ignored them and held his trembling fist with both of my hands. Then... 

Vedy: Ah... 

Even though Vedy-kun raised his voice softly, he didn't shake my hand off... His trembling hand calmed down a little. Then, after a while... 

Vedy: ...MC!

MC: ...!

His arms were hugging me so strongly that it hurts... At that moment, my heart throbbed greatly again. 

Vedy: I love you... But, I don't know what to do... Hurting my friend because I love you... I really am the worst. I hate it... I hate it... 

MC: Vedy-kun... 

His honest feelings pierced through my heart... On that note, I didn't say anything... 

Last Chapter - Accepting Envy

A few days later since Vedy-kun confessed to me...

The promised day with Cero-san was approaching. But...

I softly placed both of my hands on my chest. 

(My heart was so loud at that time...)

(...I need to turn down Cero-san properly. Right now, what I'm feeling is...) 

When I got up from the sofa, I left the room and headed to where I promised to meet up wtih Cero-san...

Cero: MC-san, thank you for coming. 

Cero-san smiled at me as he said that. Although, his expression turned serious soon after... 

Cero: So... Your feelings are? 

As he was looking straight at me, he waited for my response. I spoke as I looked straight back at Cero-san. 

MC: I... 

At that moment. 

??: Hey, hold it!!

A very loud shout echoed throughout town that was covered in sunlight. When Cero-san and I turned towards that voice, over there was... 

MC: Vedy-kun!? 

Cero: ...

Vedy: ... 

There was tension running between them. Then, after a while...

Veyd-kun was the first one to speak. 

Vedy: Sorry, Cero... I love MC! My friends are important to me, but since my love towards MC is more special, I became envious of you. I couldn't hold down my envy because I love her, so I'm going to accept these feelings of envy... That's why... 

At that moment, there was a strong look in Vedy-kun's eyes. Then...

After running through town, we returned to the Votaria castle. Although, Vedy-kun wouldn't let go of my hand... As we stayed like that, he took me to his room. 

Vedy: ......

MC: Vedy-kun...? 

He looked straight at me. There was a strong envious look in his eyes... As it felt like I was being drawn towards him from behind looked at for a long time, I ended up turning my back on him. 

MC: Um, I... 

Vedy: Don't say anything!!

MC: ...!? 

Just as I felt Vedy-kun's warmth against my back, the next moment... He raised my chin and took my lips by force. 

MC: Vedy-ku-

When I turned my face a little, I said his name, but his soft lips cut me off completely. 

MC: ...

The kiss was getting more heated up... It felt like Vedy-kun was responding to me with the large emotion of envy that he was holding in. Then, the moment I was about to get engulfed by that heat...

When Vedy-kun removed his lips from me a little, he looked straight at me and spoke. 

Vedy: I can't stand it when you're with other guys, I hate that more than anything. I want you to only look at me, I want you to only think of me... These feelings might really be shameful, but... 

Just as Vedy-kun said that, he furrowed his brow in pain. Seeing him like that made me shake my head slowly...

I softly smiled as I looked at his eyes that were still filled with envy.

MC: ... 

Once agian, he gave me a warm kiss. The heated deep kiss was so rough that it made me unable to grasp anything... Then, he hugged me tightly. 

Vedy: I won't hand you over to anyone... You're mine. Got it? 

His words that were stimulated by envy made me nod silently... So, I entrusted my entire body to him that I adore so much...
