The next morning...
Carlo: Hey, MC!
He knocked on the door to my room energetically.
Carlo: Let's go! We're practicing today!
MC: Got it...
Unable to go against him for some reason, I followed him from behind after I said that.
He took me over to a large hall.
MC: Carlo?
As soon as we've arrived at the hall, Carlo placed a guitar on his shoulder.
Carlo: We've finished doing the piano yesterday! Today, we're practicing being punks!
Just as my heart throbbed, Carlo casually played the guitar.
MC: Wow, amazing!
After Carlo happily smiled when I applauded, he frowned in surprise.
Carlo: Wha... What are you being impressed for! You try it too!
MC: Eh...?
Carlo: Since you don't want to sing, you might as well try playing an instrument! Doesn't holding a guitar bring out a bit of a punkish feeling?
When he took off the guitar over his shoulder, he put it on me.
MC: Uh...
Carlo: Come on, over here! Try going on stage!
MC: W-Wait, Carlo!
Carlo grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the stage. Due to being slow, my foot got caught in the cord that was spread out on the floor.

When I opened my eyes, I fell on top of Carlo.
MC: I'm sorry, Carlo.
Carlo: What are you saying, shouldn't be saying thank you instead of sorry?
Carlo grinned.
MC: Got it... Thank you, Carlo.
Carlo: You're welcome!
Carlo gently patted my back. That gesture suddenly made my cheeks heat up.
MC: H-Hey...
Carlo: Hm?
MC: I'm already... okay now.
Just as he stopped patting my back, Carlo opened his mouth in surprise.
Carlo: S-Sorry!
MC: It's okay...
My heart wouldn't stop going fast from earlier, so I was worried if Carlo noticed.
(Carlo... He didn't notice, right?)
When I glanced towards him without him noticing, Carlo was frowning as he looked like he was thinking of something.
(Is something wrong?)
While Carlo was holding me, I tilted my head to the side.
MC: Carlo?
Carlo: Somehow, I don't want to let you go!
MC: Eh...!?
Carlo: What are you shouting so hysterically for! My heart has been racing since earlier!
MC: I-Is that so?
Carlo: Also, isn't your heart going fast too!?
Carlo looked at my face as if he could see through me. My face instantly became hot.

While looking at me like that, Carlo grinned and laughed.
Carlo: How about it? Want to become punks for a while like this?
MC: ...!
Carlo approached my face and whispered that to me.
MC: W-What are you saying...!
Carlo: You're turning red!
MC: Geez, stop joking around...
Carlo: I'm serious.
MC: Eh...?
Carlo: I'm always serious!
Carlo hugged me tighter.
MC: Carlo...
Carlo: Let's become punks!
Whether he's joking or being serious, Carlo made a mischievous smile. Within the dim hall, the lighting shined on us...
