Chapter 1 - Luke's Troubles

In the forest near Alstoria* castle... As the tree leaves were swaying from the gentle wind blowing, a beautiful sound was heard. 

T/N: Avi's kingdom

(This sound is...) 

When I walked forward a little, I saw Luke-san playing the flute with his eyes closed in the middle of the sunlight that was shining through the trees. 

(I knew it was Luke-san.) 

I thought about calling out to him, but I wanted to hear that beautiful sound that I slowly closed my eyes. 

(It really is such a beautiful sound.) 

Then, when the sound slowly stopped...

Luke: MC-san. 

Luke-san looked at me gently. 

MC: Ah, I'm sorry. Did I interrupt you?

Luke: No, not at all. 

With his hand that was holding the flute, he arranged the large hat on his head and smiled gently. 

MC: It was really nice. The sound of your flute.

Luke: It was nothing... 

As he responded, his face made a bit of a gloomy look. 

MC: What's wrong? 

Luke: ...

When I asked that, he turned away with a complicated look on his face. 

MC: Luke-san? 

Luke: MC-san... 

MC: Is something troubling you? If it's all right, I'd like to help you with it. 

Luke: ...

Chapter 2 - A Favor for Luke

The warm afternoon sunlight shined through the forest. When Luke-san spoke, it felt like his soft voice was being melted by that sunlight. 

Luke: I... I was wonder how I can leave a bigger presence...

Those sudden words made me blink. 

MC: W-What do you mean? 

Luke: Well... Even though that I thought that I did when I went traveling. ...I probably don't stand out somehow. 

MC: T-That's... 

Just as I was about to deny that in a panic, Luke-san slowly shook his head. 

Luke: No... Compared to Avi, who holds firm strength as a knight and Medi, who has an intense personality. Just looking at them makes me think that I don't have much of a presence as a prince.

Luke: MC-san?

Luke-san was still making a troubled and perplexed look, but then, he slowly raised his face and looked at me. 

Luke: That's right... I have a favor to ask of you. 

MC: Eh? 

I couldn't bring myself to look away from Luke-san's serious gaze... 

Chapter 3 - Luke's Special Training

Luke-san looked straight at me. 

Luke: That's right... I have a favor to ask of you.

MC: A favor...? 

Then, he took a deep breath and slowly murmured some words. 

Luke: Just like you said, I'm the only one that can speak back to those guys. In that case, I should polish my skills, otherwise I won't claim my existence... MC-san, my apologies, but will you stick with me during my training? 

He looked straight at me. 

MC: U-Uh... 

(What do I do... Luke-san is this troubled.)

Luke: ...I understand that it's troubling. But, I don't have the confidence to stay like this any longer.

MC: But, what are you going to do? 

Luke: ...Let's see. Then, how about we ask either Avi or Medi on what I should do. 

MC: Eh?

Luke: Medi. He causes trouble for others, so I'd like to refrain from doing anything that might scatter around.

Luke: Avi. Isn't it important to take breaks? He needs to rest both the mind and body.
