Luke - Prince of Muse - Sun End

Chapter 4 - Luke's Training

After a while since then, Luke-san continued his odd training...

Luke: MC-san, thank you very much.

He deeply bowed to me.

MC: It was nothing, but I wonder if I was much help...

Luke: Then, right... I'm going to go over to those two and try out what I've trained. What about you?

MC: Ah... I'm going to walk a bit more in this forest.

Luke: I see. Then, let's meet up later.

As Luke-san gently smiled, he turned around and walked towards the Alstoria* castle.

T/N: Avi's kingdom

(Luke-san...)

When I sighed, I sat down in the shade. Despite that I was worried about Luke-san, I dozed off as I was enveloped in the warm sunlight the next moment...

......

Luke: MC-san.

When I slowly opened my eyelids, Luke-san was looking at me with his gentle eyes.

MC: Luke-san... Ah, how did it go!?

Luke: Yes. The two of them were surprised from how I was speaking!

MC: That's good!

(I wonder what he said to them.)

Luke-san's satisfied smile made me break into a smile as well...

Last Chapter - Luke's Presence

Before I knew it, the sky was starting to turn red.

Luke: I'm sorry for dragging you into something so strange.

MC: I-It's okay.

Luke: I'm still not ready to return to my kingdom, but... I feel that I've gained a little bit of self-confidence.

MC: Luke-san, why are you traveling?

When I asked that, Luke-san chuckled with a smile.

Luke: It's an embarrassing story, but... It's because I was running away from my father.

MC: Running away...?

Luke: Unlike me, my father is more strict and outstanding... When I'm always being compared to him, it makes me choke up. I just couldn't take it... I wanted to have some kind of self-confidence, so I went traveling to search for it.

MC: I see...

Luke: Isn't it pathetic?

The satisfied smile that he showed earlier crumbled down and he became gloomy again.

(Pathetic, he says...)

MC: Luke-san, won't you let me hear your flute?

Luke: ...It's embarrassing, but since you asked.

After saying that, Luke-san silently placed the flute against his lips... The gentle sound that was fusing with the sunlight as it was being played made me slowly close my eyes.

(How beautiful.)

When I opened my eyes, the forest animals that heard Luke-san's flute gathered around.

Luke: Hello. I see that you've all came again.

Ending the performance, he gently smiled at the animals. That smile gave me a warm feeling.

MC: Luke-san... I don't think you need to push yourself.

Luke: Eh...?

MC: I love the sound of that flute. It's so gentle, warm and really reassuring. Also, it's just like you. I'm sorry, I can't put it into words right.

Luke: MC-san...

Then... Luke-san gently held both of my hands.

Luke: Thank you. I'm really glad that I've met you. I might not be as reliant as the other princes, but... I will protect you from now on.

As the sunlight shined on Luke-san's face, he looked really radiantly beautiful... My heart lightly throbbed.

MC: Fufu... That might be possible.

Enveloped by the gentle sunlight, we smiled at each other...
