Chapter 4 - Everyone, Family!
The next morning... I woke up from the birds chirping.
(I can hear voices coming from outside...)
Along with children laughing, I could hear Randa-san laughing. When I got up, I went outside.
Randa: Awake, MC.
When Randa-san saw me, he ran over to me. The sunlight bordered around his robust body.
MC: Randa-san.
Randa: Tired!
He laid down next to me and sighed deeply.
Randa: Played, a lot!
MC: You've been playing this whole time?
Randa: Yeah! Everyone, lively!
Child: Randa~ Play, more~!!
The children called out to Randa-san.
Randa: Taking, break!
When I sat down next to Randa-san, I watched the children.
MC: Do you like children?
Randa: Like, obviously! Tribe, all family!!
(Family...)
As he made a face that said, "obviously", the wind made his orange hair sway.
(Having someone like Randa-san in a family could be fun.)
When I thought of that, I closed my eyes...
Last Chapter - You, Friend Now!
As I watched the children in the warm sunlight, a large hand was wrapped around mine.
MC: ...!
Before I knew it, I was looking down at Randa-san as he was lying down beside me. Ignoring my surprise, he brought my hand to his nose.
Randa: You, smell good.
Randa-san's large brusque hand was holding mine as if he was checking something.
Randa: Also, soft!
MC: R-Randa-san?
Randa: Smell, like flowers!
MC: That's because... we were probably surrounded by flowers that were in bloom.
Randa: No!
When Randa-san extended his long arm and touched my cheek... I noticed that my heartbeat became faster than before.
Randa: Soft!
His fingers gently grabbed my cheek.
MC: H-Hyanda-san?
Randa: Weird voice!
With a hearty smile, he touched my cheek again.
MC: That's because you were pulling my cheek.
Randa-san laughed as if I said something funny.
Randa: You, fun! Me, happy, with you!
MC: Me too.
Getting a heartwarming feeling, I returned a smile. Suddenly, the smile went away from Randa-san's face.
MC: ?
Randa: You, going home?
MC: I...
(The feast has ended, so I think I should leave soon, but...)
Towards Randa-san's question, I looked around me and felt strangely sad. The torches that shined brightly during the party. The children's laughter. The sunlight shining on the trees.
(Somehow, I feel sad.)
When I looked down at Randa-san, he was looking at me pleadingly. They looked like the eyes of a small child that still wanted to play with his friends...
MC: Can I come here again to play?
I asked that without thinking.
Randa: Of course!
Randa-san's face brightened up when he said that.
MC: Thank you.
Randa: You, friend now! Come, play, again!
MC: Yes!
When he removed his large hand from my cheek, he strongly petted my head.
Randa: Come, see us!
MC: Yes...
(A friend...)
When I felt a warmth from those words, I placed my hand on Randa-san's large hand...
