In front of the huge doors, a heavy atmosphere was drifting...

Ciel: We'll play the game in 6 days. That'll be enough for me.

We stood in front of the king's audience room. 

Ciel: ... 

By Ciel-kun's request, he asked for an audience with the king... 

(Even though he thought about asking for help, the king is out traveling...) 

When I looked at the side of Ciel-kun's face as he was thinking about something, I clenched my fist.

Ciel: MC, I'm going out for a bit. 

After saying that, he turned his back on me and started to walk. 

MC: Ciel-kun? But...

MC: What, I was just thinking that if we arrange these flowers...

After I responded to Ciel-kun, he picked a single flower.

All the people that were looking at the flower arrangement were smiling, but... The way they were behaving was truly strange somehow.

Ciel: You can guess from how those guys were behaving. I often deal with what happens in the shadows of the world. Those people were acting like that too easily. 

Showing disdain, Ciel-kun frowned. 

MC: How... would you know that? 

Ciel: My nose is sharp. 

Smiling proudly, Ciel-kun placed one of his hands on his waist. 

MC: Eh...? 

Ciel: Don't worry about it. Anyway, it's that sort of thing.

MC: Then, we need to do something to bring them back to normal...!

Ciel: You going to report this to the king? Don't bother. Move poorly and you'll lose the chance to catch him. 

MC: Eh...? 

Ciel: You don't need to do anything. 

When he said that coldly, my heart throbbed. 

Ciel: Also, why? I'm the one who agreed to play the game. You have nothing to do with it.

I looked at the flower arrangement in my hand. The small flower petals swayed from the wind as it looked very weak.

MC: No, I think it's a really cute arrangement. Somehow, I can see how hard you worked on it... It's giving me energy. 

Ciel: ...Hmph. 

Ciel-kun threw the flower arrangement and got up, leaving the flowers behind. 

MC: Ciel-kun...? 

Ciel: Leave them. I've had enough already. 

Just as I was about to pick them up in a panic, Ciel-kun stopped me. 

Ciel: Let's go. It's almost time for dinner. 

MC: Eh? But, the game is in 6 days...!

MC: Ciel-kun... When did you? 

(Yesterday, all that he was doing was drink tea elegantly and took a walk...) 

The people that became charmed and stopped one after another, they made bright smiles.

Ciel: Don't you know? Music has the power to excite people. Also, the scents directly work on people's memories, so it can stimulate any kind of desire. As expected, that butler knows what the people wants. 

When Ciel-kun said that, he smiled boldly.

Ciel: I investigated one of the flowers that I took from that arrangement. The flower petals emit a special kind of mist, it's like a carnivorous plant that attracts it's prey by taking away their judgement. To trigger the effects of the mist... A certain loud sound must be made. 

MC: ...!

Man: I see that you have taken an interest in my flower arrangement.

MC: Could it be, the bells that man was wearing...!? 

Affirming my words, Ciel-kun smiled deeply. 

MC: Then... 

Ciel: ...With this, it's over for that man. 

He looked at the exhibition of the flower arrangement nearby. Due to so many people stopping at Ciel-kun's display, it was completely deserted. 

Ciel: This game wasn't amusing at all.

MC: We need to let the executive committee of the exhibition know...

Ciel: Do as you like. Those were the conditions. 

With a light chuckle, Ciel-kun broke off a tip of the candied flower arrangement and bit it. 

Ciel: ...The sweets that guy makes are good.
