Chapter 6 - Invited to the Night Pool
As we were enjoying our meal in peace, we looked at the sunset in the sky.
Kanoe: In the sky... It feels like it has become night so quickly.
MC: It does.
Kanoe: Not a lot of things may have happened today, but... Time goes by so fast when I'm with you.
I felt very sad that the day was going to end soon.
Kanoe: MC, what are you going to do after this?
MC: ...!
Kanoe: Despite how troubling this sounds, I want to have some fun with you. ...If you don't mind.
Towards his invitation, I broke into a smile happily.
MC: It's not troubling... I still want to spend time with you too, Kanoe-san.
Just as he suddenly got up, he held out his hand to me. When I took Kanoe-san's hand, I felt his body warmth.
Kanoe: The pool at night seems to be different than in the day. Want to check it out?
MC: Of course...!
With Kanoe-san pulling my hand, we headed to the pool again... With our fingers entwined with each other, I felt his warm hand completely...
Chapter 7 - Touching Distance in the Water
As the nightly breeze made the water surface lightly sway, it shined magically... When Kanoe-san and I went to the pool again, there was the view of the starry sky and various colorful lights.
Kanoe: This... goes beyond of what I was expecting.
The projection mapping that was reflecting on the water surface created illuminations one after another.
MC: Pretty...
As Kanoe-san pulled my hand, I put my feet in the pool with rainbow lights.
Kanoe: It might be a little cold.
MC: But, it feels good.
Kanoe: ...Wait. I'm going to borrow that.
After Kanoe-san said that, he brought over a large swim ring that was underneath the shade near the poolside.
Kanoe: Here, I'll help you.
With the swim ring floating in the water, Kanoe-san got on first and urged me to get on it. When I got on it, he glided the swim ring on top of the water for a while.
Kanoe: It's a little cramped.
MC: That's because you're so big, Kanoe-san.
Despite that I said that jokingly... The warmth from our skin touching got me worked up.
Kanoe: I'm glad that you're enjoying yourself.
MC: That's because going to the pool at night is exciting.
Kanoe: I guess so... We go swimming in the river in my kingdom, but this sort of thing is fun too.
Kanoe-san dipped his fingers in the water that reflected him.
Kanoe: Even at night, I got to see your face like this.
Kanoe-san's heated gaze got closer...

Just as our lips were about to meet... Loud cheers were made around us.
MC: ...!
Thinking that we were being watched, I moved my face away from Kanoe-san in a panic. Then, when I realized that the projection mapping was changing shapes, I sighed in relief.

MC: Isn't it pretty, Kanoe-sa-
I said that to him as I looked at the pale lights that were shining on the water surface.
Kanoe: ...
The next moment... He held my cheek somewhat forcefully and snatched my lips away.

Kanoe: Sorry. But... You looked so beautiful with the lights shining on you. I couldn't hold myself back.
His bright straightforward gaze pinned me down that I couldn't bring myself to move.

When he pulled me towards him by the shoulder, I fell onto his chest...

Losing balance on the swim ring, we fell into the pool.

With Kanoe-san holding me, my face appeared from the water surface.

MC: Y-Yes...!
As we were wet from the top of our heads, we silently looked at each other and smiled...
Last Chapter - Drowning in True Thoughts
The illuminous lights on the water surface had disordered ripples from the waves we've made... After we were thrown into pool... We smiled at each other as we were dripping wet for a short while.
Kanoe: Geez... What are we doing?
When I looked up at him as he was holding me, drops of water fell from his cheeks with the pool lights shining on him.
Kanoe: ...I got greedy.
MC: Greedy... you say?
The word that I just said wasn't like the usual him.
Kanoe: ...Yeah, that's right.
When he slowly looked at my face, Kanoe-san narrowed his eyes satisfied.
Kanoe: But, that doesn't mean I'm going to stop. Today, I realized something about me that I never knew until now.
MC: Something you didn't realize about yourself?
As Kanoe-san was looking at me, I waited for his next words.
Kanoe: I can get jealous and possessive more than I thought. Like before, I wasn't sure if it was you that made me that way... I didn't want to hand you over to anyone, just like what happened today.
As I was surprised by his unexpected words, he closed the distance between us even more.
Kanoe: When you were talking to another guy, that kind of feeling was burning within me...

Kanoe: Saying something like that, even I was surprised myself.
Embarrassed, he smiled.
MC: That wasn't really...

His amorous gaze made the inside of my body heat up.
MC: Kanoe-san...
Kanoe: I don't want to hide my feelings anymore.
Just when I thought he was going to hold his forehead, he pushed my wet bangs away and placed a kiss against my brow.
MC: ...!
With Kanoe-san holding me, he got up to the poolside.
MC: Kanoe-san, I can walk by myself...
Kanoe: Didn't I tell you that I didn't want to hand you over to anyone?
Kanoe-san's arms that were holding me increased their grip.
MC: Kanoe-san, aren't I heavy?
When I said that in embarrassment, he lightly smiled.
Kanoe: You're too light to me. But... If you're that concerned about it, wrap your arms around my neck. It makes walking easier.
His heated expression made my heart skip a beat.
(If he makes that kind of expression...)
Unable to go against his forceful gaze anymore, I clung onto his neck.
Kanoe: Are you nervous?
MC: ...!
As he was right on point, I looked at him.
Kanoe: Feeling your warm skin like this... made me think that you could hear my heartbeat.
When he chuckled amusedly, I felt love overflowing. At the same time, I continued to be at the mercy of his charm that it somehow made me frustrated...
MC: Kanoe-san, look at the pool.
The moment he moved his gaze after I said that, I pulled his head and placed a kiss against his cheek. His eyes widened that instant... Although, he smiled soon after.
Kanoe: ...Don't rile me up like that. What I really want is to look at you right now.
as he was holding me, I felt his breath against my nape.
Kanoe: I told you that I don't want to hold myself back anymore.
While feeling the warm sensation that I've felt many times on my shoulder, he moved his hand down to my collarbone.
MC: Kanoe-san...
When I nodded once more, I hid my red cheeks and softly buried my face in his neck.
Kanoe: MC... Okay. In that case, prepare yourself.
He whispered that in a soft voice that only I could hear. As the warm breeze made our hair sway, it was telling us that this was the start of a long night...
