Chapter 1 - Compensation

Kingdom of Poison, Morfan*, June...

T/N: Sakia's kingdom

When the audience with the king of Morfan has ended, the rain has lifted as I was on my way out... Just as I was passing by a flower field at a fast pace, some small, cute flowers that looked like hydrangeas were sparkling with the raindrops on them. 

(Pretty... The cute flower petals look so magical with the raindrops shining on them.) 

When my feet stopped by instinct, I became charmed by that scene. As I was strangely charmed, my hand was about to reach out to them as if it was drawn towards them. 

??: You're going to die. 

MC: !? 

Just as my hand was stopped by suddenly being grabbed, I turned around in surprise. Then, over there was... 

MC: Dayang-kun...!

Dayang: Those are poisonous flowers. If someone touches it, they'll go numb and fall into an eternal slumber.

When I reunited with Dayang-kun at a flower field, he saved me from touching a poisonous flower. Then, right now, he was diligently picking those flowers with gloves covering his skin.

When Dayang-kun said that while picking the flowers, he looked up. Then, just as he had a serious look in his eyes, he grinned.
