Chapter 6 - I Won't Lie Anymore

Among the sunlight that was shining through the trees, I walked alongside Miya quickly. Once we were near the castle, Miya suddenly stopped and spoke. 

Miya: Thanks, MC-chan. 

MC: Eh...? 

When I looked at him, Miya was making a bashful smile. 

Miya: For being with me. You make the real me come out.

As those words made my heart slightly noisy, I took a deep breath slowly. 

Miya: What's wrong? Did you get scared easily? 

MC: No...! It's nothing.

Miya: I see. 

After saying that, Miya closed his eyes soon after. 

Miya: I'm not going to lie to myself anymore. I'm going to try harder. 

When Miya said that strongly with a sunlike smile, my heartbeat that I tried to hold down became noisy again...

Suddenly, Miya made a serious expression as he said that.

Robed Man: To think that you would have company in a place like this... How careless, Prince Miya. 

Miya: Who are you? 

Robed Man: I have business with Prince Ilia, but unfortunately, he doesn't seem to be in the castle right now.

MC: Is it about that sorcerer...?

Miya smiled at me.

He gently combed up my bangs and placed a kiss on my forehead.

Last Chapter - The Sun Will Shine Again

When it has been decided that Ilia will be returning to the kingdom, everyone has been busily moving around for the preparations of the party in the castle.

As the sorcerer stood in front of me, he questioned me terrifyingly. 

MC: H-He hasn't returned yet... 

When I responded back shakily, the sorcerer shook his head as if he didn't believe what I said. 

Miya: MC-chan!

After Miya and the others heard all the clamor, his expression changed when he saw me. 

King: Miya, is this the person the sorcerer that you mentioned? 

Miya: Yeah. He's after Ilia. 

When the sorcerer looked around at Miya and the others, he clicked his tongue in irritation. 

Sorcerer: Hmph... Looks like Prince Ilia really isn't here. Looks like I'm going to have to see him next time, but before that. Since I"m here. I'll leave him a gift!

When the sorcerer softly chanted some kind of spell, a flame snake coiled it's long body around like crazy.

Miya spread out both of his arms and chanted something. 

Sorcerer: Burn everything!

Along with that shout, the sorcerer raised his hands up. The expanded flames burst out as it was burning the inside of the castle in a rage.

In front of the spread-out flames, Miya unfolded his hands and lowered them. At that moment, the raging snake of flames dissipated without a sound. 

Sorcerer: !? How!? 

The moment the sorcerer became uneasy, the guards surrounded him and held him down. 

Miya: Are you okay!? MC-chan!

When Miya ran up to me, he looked at me worriedly. 

MC: Miya... Just now... 

Miya: I did a little studying to live up to my role. 

After saying that, Miya smiled as there was some sweat on his face.

Hearing his cheerful voice made me feel comfortable. I softly placed my cheek against his robust shoulder. 

Miya: I'll protect you from now on. Only you, MC-chan!

Once I was released from Miya's arms, his face slowly got closer.

Miya: Hey, can I kiss you? 

MC: Eh...

Just as those words made me turn red... Miya placed both of his hands on my cheeks and placed his lips over mine. 

MC: ...

Our faces slowly parted from each other. As I was unable to see Miya's embarrassed face... 

Miya: Geez, you're so cute!

MC: M-Miya...!

Miya: Hehe... This is my gratitude!

As I was drawn towards his cheerful voice, I looked up at Miya's face. He gently looked down at me with a smile that was like the warm bright sun... That smile made me smile as well...
