Chapter 6 - The Road in the Twilight

As various colorful flowers were swaying from the wind blowing, it added flair to the road... 

Seras: Dere has been pretty good progress today. The road is lookin' nice. 

While standing beside me, Seras-san looked at the same road. The afterglow of the sunset softly shined on Seras-san's handsome face. 

Seras: Thanks for today. 

MC: No, I should be thanking you. I'm glad that you brought me here. 

When I said that, Seras-san made an odd smile. 

MC: Eh...? 

Seras: No, sorry. You're such a good gal... No good, I'm weak to dat sort of thing. 

Seras-san gently petted my head. That warmth made me heat up oddly...

Chapter 7 - A Favor

When the sky changed into an indigo color, the lights began to brighten up the streets. 

Seras: Before we return to da castle, can ya do me a favor? 

MC: Sure, I don't mind, but...

(What is it...?) 

While thinking that it was strange, I looked at Seras-san. Then, he lightly petted my head...

Seras: Tomorrow, will ya spend some time with me? 

MC: Eh...? 

When my heart throbbed excitedly, I softly nodded. 

......

The next day... While hearing tiny birds chirping in the forest, Seras-san and I were walking together. 

Seras: Such nice weather today.

As he looked up at the sky, he held out his hand to me. 

MC: Eh...? 

Seras: Let's hold hand, so dat ya won't trip. 

Seras-san held my hand and continued proceeding through the forest. 

(Until now, he has been walking in front of me...) 

While feeling the little change, my heart became noisy. When my confusion increased from the warmth of Seras-san's hand... 

MC: Um, where are we going? 

Seras: To where he is.

(By he, does he mean...) 

The moment I tilted my head to the side, I saw a familiar looking shrine. 

MC: This place is...

Seras: Yes, it's where Minerva is...

While looking at the shrine, Seras-san smiled. Although, there was some uneasiness showing in those eyes as they were slightly trembling. 

Seras: I've mentioned dis, but he flew out of dis kingdom on his own. Before dat, I wasn't sure if Minerva was goin' through a hard time. Because of me, he ended up getting really hurt. 

He put more strength into his hand that was holding mine. 

(Seras-san...) 

Seras: Da truth is, I still haven't talked to Minerva ever since he returned to dis kingdom. I didn't know what to talk about, so I haven't been coming to see him. But... Somehow, bein' with you gives me courage...

MC: I see...

I remembered how Seras-san would look at the forest sometimes. There would always be a pained look in those eyes... 

Seras: I might be overestimatin' my abilities a little if I tell him I'm all right. I want to make up with him. Even though we've always been together...

As Seras-san had his head down, he lightly smiled. 

MC: If you want to make up with him that much, then I'm sure that you'll be fine. 

Seras: Really...

MC: Yes. Shall we go see him together? 

Seras: ...

When Seras-san suddenly looked at me, his beautiful eyes gave me a gentle look... 

MC: ...!

Seras: ...You're really kind. I'm glad dat I have met you.

After Seras-san lets go of me, he made his usual smile again. 

Seras: Standin' here is really no good. Goin' to see him is makin' me nervous though. 

When Seras-san held my shoulder, we walked towards the shrine. I can feel his nervousness from when he was touching me...

Last Chapter - Reconciling

In front of the shrine, Seras-san took a deep breath. 

Seras: Minerva!

After a while, we heard wings flapping from the shrine and Minerva appeared. With his wings spread out, Minerva flew towards Seras-san's shoulder. 

Seras: Minerva, it's been a while. 

Minerva: ... 

Minerva stared at Seras-san with his big round eyes as a response. 

Seras: ...Don't stay silent. 

Minerva: Traumerei Princess, long time no see. 

MC: It's been a while, Minerva. 

Seras: Don't ignore me. 

Seras-san's face approached Minerva, but... Minerva ignored him and turned his back on him.

(Ah...)

Seras: Even though you're on my shoulder, you're actin' pretty distant. Dat's going too far. 

Minerva: ...

When Minerva took a glance at Seras-san, he spread out his huge wings again instead of responding. 

Seras: ...Minerva, can't we take a walk and talk for a bit?

Minerva: ...

When Minerva didn't respond, Seras-san slowly began to walk towards the forest.

As the sunlight was going through the gaps of the trees, it softly shined on us. 

Seras: Thanks for protectin' Minerva.

Minerva: ...

When Seras-san turned towards me with a smile, Minerva stared at me with his big eyes. 

(I wonder if Minerva hasn't forgiven Seras-san...) 

Seras: Minerva, have you properly thanked her yet?

Seras-san reached out to pet Minerva. Although, Minerva flew off from his shoulder as a sign of rejection. 

Seras: He really hasn't forgiven me... 

When Seras-san stopped and looked up at Minerva in a tree, he patted his shoulder. 

(I wonder what we can do... Even though those two have finally met with each other.) 

As I was thinking at that moment...

(Come to think of it...) 

MC: Seras-san, how about try saying "I'm back" to Minerva?

Seras: Eh...? No, even sayin' dat...! Don't tell me, it's about dat!? 

Seras-san looked from me to Minerva in bewilderment. At that moment, we heard wings flapping...

Seras: Ow!

Minerva flew and hit Seras-san's head with his wing. 

Seras: Hey, Minerva! Dat hurts!

While Seras-san was in pain, Minerva continued to hit him with his wing many times. 

Seras: Don't tell me dat you're mad all because I didn't say "I'm back"!? 

When Seras-san adjusted his glasses, Minerva flew above and looked down at him. As it seemed like what Seras-san said was right, Minerva flew around and landed on his shoulder again. 

MC: I knew it...

Seras: Minerva, so dat's how you felt...

Seras-san looked at Minerva with a surprised expression. 

Seras: I see, so dat's why you were sulkin'.

Minerva: ...

With all the tension going away, a smile returned to Seras-san's face. When Seras-san reached out to Minerva, he nervously touched his wings. 

Seras: Minerva... I'm back. 

Minerva: ...You're late. 

Seras: I know. I was late, sorry about dat. 

Seras-san's voice was trembling a little. 

Seras: I made ya wait for so long... 

Minerva: It's fine since you've returned safely... Welcome back... 

Seras: Yeah... I'm back.

Seras-san happily smiled as he petted Minerva's wings. 

(That's good...)

As those two were talking to each other, it gave me a warm feeling. Then...

Seras: Do ya want to try pettin' him too, MC?

MC: Can I? 

Seras: Of course. Right, Minerva? Come on, hurry. 

When I approached the two of them, I reached out towards Minerva's wings. 

Minerva: ...

I felt the soft sensation of his wings against the palm of my hand. While I was petting Minerva, he closed his eyes in comfort. 

Seras: It's all thanks to you. Because of what ya said, Minerva and I have become like dis. 

MC: That's not true... You two would have become like this now quickly without me. 

Seras: Sayin' dat sort of thing again... 

Seras-san said that amusingly with a smile. 

Minerva: Don't be so modest. You saved us. 

Seras: Right? It's like what he said. All sorts of things brightened up because of ya. 

Seras-san placed his hand over mine as it was petting Minerva. As I felt the warmth of his large hand, my heart skipped a beat greatly. 

Seras: I'm glad dat I met ya. 

When Seras-san pulled my hand, the distance between us got smaller. 

MC: Seras-san... 

While looking at each other, we didn't say anything. 

Seras: ...

When Seras-san's face got closer, I entrusted myself to him and closed my eyes, then at that moment... Minerva got into Seras-san's arms and flapped his wings greatly. 

MC: ...!

Seras: Ah~... Yeah, yeah. How could I forget about ya? 

Seras-san made a wry smile and petted Minerva's wings. 

(I... Just now with Seras-san...) 

My heart was beating loudly right now. 

Seras: I said I'm sorry, how about I'll write your name so dat I won't forget your face? 

Minerva: That's weird. Cut that out.

Seras: I was jokin'. As if dat would happen. 

While feeling my loud lively heart, I looked at Seras-san and Minerva as they were talking to each other. As they were laughing happily together, I had a premonition about what'll happen to this kingdom from here on...
